Speaking In Patterns

The concept gave birth when we heard that we needed to travel to Durban for a corporate client’s launch event. And when we think Durban we think colour-blocking, patterns, cultures, languages, people – a whole lot of different creatives all in one place.

That is when we started “speaking in patterns”. We decided to take all these elements, pick a few of our favourite Durban creatives and throw together a #LocalisLovely mengelslaai (“mixed salad” as they say in Afrikaans).

Using everyday décor and dinnerware, we wanted to tie pretty, pastel and pattern into one minimalistic shoot.
